The chain dwindled down slowly until this morning.
I woke B up fearful of whether he'd be happy or grumpy.
Thankfully he woke up with a smile and said, "Today is school!"
We ate and were out the door in less than 30 minutes--without any clothing changes!
We met these cute boys at the gate...
It was a big day for this kindergartner, my sweet Godson.
I said good bye to B.
I walked to my car and then...silence.
Bittersweet.
Just last week I was missing my big kiddos-how does this balance out so easily?
But quickly, I grabbed my to do list, turned up the music really loud
and sipped on my coffee as I ran errands.
Alone with my music.
I loved it.
And the best part,
I get to do it again tomorrow.
