curious as all 3 year olds are, he inspected and took inventory.
he then proclaimed with eyes wide open and great excitement,
"MOM! I have a GWEAT idea! We should go to Tawget to buy Sawah (Sarah) a penis!"
yeah, cause we all want a penis, right?
good lord.
then he turned around, dropped his shoulders in disappointment and said,
"oh wait, that's wight, sawah has a fagina."
of couwse (oops), this led to an ongoing conversation between the toddlers.
"sawah, do you need a penis?"
"no, i have a bubby." (my hubby's family calls it this. still, today.)
b looks to me and says, "mom, what's a bubby?"
i shrug my shoulders.
he glances back at sarah with a confused look and says,
"a what? no, you don't. you have a FAGINA, sawah!"
"no, bw-rody. i have a bubby, a fagina and a cat."
whoa... now i'm scared.
please no more nicknames!
then i turn to see her holding a stuffed animal that indeed is a cat.
i quickly ended the conversation before more slang words were introduced to my sweet, innocent baby.
i tried to remember back to when kk and c were younger.
i do not recall kk ever talking body parts, especially at "inappropriate times."
(kitchen table, church, in the midst of strangers)
true to form, i do recall c telling people about his uncle n.
uncle n is an electrician and has a service vehicle.
take note:
c could not pronunciate the 'r' or 'tr' sounds.
he could however pronounce 'c,' both the soft and hard sound.
this being said, he'd often inform people about that his uncle
"had a big, white truck."
i'll let you figure that one out.
hewe's to a gweat thuwsday.
