who knew bite size butterfingers would taste so good with my morning coffee?
damn candy.
1 more day and it's all gone.
the switch witch is on her way.
this is how my children's teeth must feel
this has got to be what their insides look like
and trust me, this grumpy faced pumpkin doesn't look much different than one of my kiddos this morning
all in all, a fun night.
nice weather.
great food.
yummy candy.
excellent costumes.
no melt downs!
one of my favorite parts of the night is the BIG TRADE OFF.
it sounds just like wall street, kid style.
lots of yelling and trading.
i just wait for the bell to ring.
i especially like how the adults meander in to
plan their attack on the loot.
and yes, that's Napoleon Dynamite in the middle of it.
he had the dance down pat.
respectably, his parents were Deb and Uncle Rico.
and so, the obligatory photos...
wish i'd of snapped a picture of the accompanying hot dog.
shoot.
a toothless, dimpled Larry Fitzpatrickgerald
as expected, we encountered a little hiccup.
after days of practicing "trick or treat, ho, ho, ho,"
b opted out of his adorable santa costume.
he was supposed to be paired up with our friend Paul who was Buddy the Elf.
i knew we were facing a 90% chance of last minute change.
i just knew it.
so he went in his room to get the dress up bin, pulled out Thor, walked out to us and said,
"i'm still cute, right?"
indeed.
to you and yours,
here's hoping for an evening of early slumber and peaceful tummies

I expected you to say the cute little Thor went door to door saying, "Trick or treat, ho, ho, ho," leaving the neighbors confused!
